I guess the big news of the moment is Sarah Palin resigning. This is not a political blog, so I will refrain from commenting except to say: 1) I honestly cannot parse any statements Palin makes — the words seem to make sense at first, but upon scrutiny seem merely to be strung together without real regard for meaning; and 2) the comments stories about Palin inspires, even on a mainstream news site like CBS, are downright frightening.

And now, an oldie but a goodie, in honor of you, America. Keep being awesome!

    Update: Since I posted this video yesterday, I have seen it twice on Facebook, on MetaFilter and on two blogs, including Cake Wrecks. I’m not saying I’m the source of all this reposting, but who knows? Still, I remember this gem from last year, so I guess we’re all a bit behind, at least in Web time.
