I am a published author with 15 years’ experience writing for blogs, websites, documentation and print. My areas of expertise include Internet technologies, social media, information systems and open source software. My strengths are:
writing, editing and presenting information in a understandable way;
planning, organizing and managing complex projects;
and system analysis and improvement from a user-centered point of view.
My passions are using technology in innovative ways and finding creative solutions to problems, particularly in nonprofit and development work.
I currently consult on developing the website, web-based documentation and social network participation of the nonprofit Open Source project, iHRIS health worker information software. I also occasionally write content for blogs and other websites, with recent publications on Blogcritics, The Huffington Post and Flashlight-Worthy Book Recommendations.
